Model VT-1 Industrial Computer

The photo to the right shows the new industrial computer option for  the Model VT-1 phased-array sodar. This was introduced during the spring 2017.  It consists of a fanless industrial computer with Windows Operating System, a portable display and wireless keyboard and touchpad.  The computer and display are mounted in the upper compartment of the Model VT-1 and the keyboard/touchpad rests on the shelf.  The computer has a low electrical power draw of only about 8 watts, which reduces overall system power draw by about 40% compared to the laptop computer option.
